AhlulBayt News Agency: Hossein Kermanpour, head of the Public Relations and Information Center at Iran's Ministry of Health, has reported that 44 women and 13 children have been killed in recent Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory.
In a post shared Tuesday on X, Kermanpour stated that 163 women were also injured, and the fatalities include two pregnant women.
According to IRNA, he noted that among the 13 child victims, the youngest was just two months old.
The Israeli attacks, described as unprovoked, struck various locations across Iran, including residential areas in Tehran, during the night of June 13. The strikes resulted in the assassination of high-ranking Iranian military officials, and numerous civilian casualties as homes were directly targeted.
Additionally, U.S. forces reportedly struck Iranian nuclear facilities in support of the Israeli assault.
